Gaura coccinea - Scarlet Gaura

Also know as Wild Honeysuckle and Bee Blossom.  Wildflower seen at Government Canyon, San Antonio. Readily available as a transplant, these hold up well in the perennial garden. They bloom all season long. The horticultural variety is a very pretty bright pink/red.
